Winter Kids Holiday workshop: Basquiat Gelli Print & Collage

Create your own mixed media collage art based on the work of American artist and cultural icon, Jean Michel Basquiat. Discover how to print bold textures and patterns with a Gelli plate, explore collage techniques and create your own symbolism and code to give your artwork a powerful message. Be funny or be serious, just get creative and tell the world what’s on your mind. BYO water bottle and wear clothing suitable for craft.

Suitable for ages 9 - 14 years.

Workshop space: Art & Craft Room (Richardson St, near Pickles St corner)

We ask parents and guardians provide kids with a water bottle when they attend workshops, and dress suitably (comfy/stretchy for physical workshops, older clothes for craft workshops).

*All our theatre and workshop spaces are access friendly. If your child has complex needs, they will be expected to attend with their own support worker. No additional charge for support workers (Companion Card number required).
